Subject: Cooling Centers

Due to the hot weather and the number of power outages here in Berkeley County, the Office of Emergency Management has made some cooling centers available at the following Fire Departments throughout Berkeley County.

  • South Berkeley
  • Back Creek Valley
  • Hedgesville
  • Baker Heights

These centers are open to the public and available for the purpose of staying cool, charging cell phones, getting water, etc. Please pass this information on to folks who may contact you regarding the need of a place to get cool. Thank you!

Kind Regards,
